Open Manage posts

Manage posts lists the posts you published or scheduled from Selects to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. To open it, click [Export] in the top right, then choose [Manage posts] under [Socials].

The Export menu open from the top right, with Manage posts marked at the bottom of the Socials group, below Instagram, TikTok and YouTube

After you schedule a TikTok post, you can also click [Manage posts] in the TikTok window.

See your scheduled posts and history

Manage posts has two tabs:

  • [Scheduled]: TikTok posts that are scheduled or still uploading, soonest first. Scheduled posts that failed or need attention are listed under Needs attention.

  • [History]: posts you published to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and scheduled posts that went out, failed, or were canceled. Click [Load more] to see older posts.

The Manage posts window on the History tab with the All accounts menu open, listing TikTok, Instagram and YouTube posts with the statuses Published, Processing, Cancelled and Failed

Each post shows its status, such as Scheduled, Published, Processing, or Failed. Point to a status to see why a post failed. To open a published post, click its thumbnail or title. If your posts come from more than one account, use the [All accounts] menu to show one account. To update the list, click the refresh button.

Change or cancel a scheduled TikTok post

To change a scheduled TikTok post, open the [Scheduled] tab and click the three-dot button on its row:

The Manage posts window on the Scheduled tab with two scheduled TikTok posts, and the three-dot menu open on the second post showing Change time, Publish now and Cancel reservation

  • [Change time]: pick a new time, then click [Save time]. The new time must be at least 5 minutes from now and no later than 30 days after you first scheduled the post.

  • [Publish now]: post the video right away.

  • [Cancel reservation]: cancel the scheduled post.

While the video is still uploading, only [Cancel reservation] is available. To schedule a post in the first place, see Publish your video to TikTok from Selects.

Note: Once TikTok starts publishing a scheduled post, it can no longer be changed.

FAQs

What if my scheduled TikTok post missed its time?

If pointing to a post’s status shows “The scheduled time was missed. Review the video and schedule it again.” or “The upload was not ready before the reservation expired. Review the video and schedule it again.”, the post was not published. Check the video, then schedule it again from the TikTok window. These posts are listed under Needs attention on the [Scheduled] tab.

Why can I not open a post from Manage posts?

Only published posts open. A post that is scheduled, still uploading or processing, failed, or canceled has no link to open yet.

Why is a post missing from Manage posts?

Manage posts lists only posts you published or scheduled from Selects. Older posts load in parts, so click [Load more] on the [History] tab. YouTube videos published more than about 4 weeks ago may not be listed.
