I'm getting an "Internal Server Error" Message.

Updated over a month ago

If you’re seeing an “Internal Server Error” message while using the AI Auto Rough Cut Assistant, it could be due to several reasons.

Please check the following:

  • After transcribing in Cutback, did you make changes to the sequence directly in Premiere Pro? If so, the sync may have broken, causing the assistant to fail. Please re-transcribe in Cutback and try again.

  • If your video is over 1 hour long or involves multi-cam editing, try select 3 chapters and running the process again. The issue may be caused by a high processing load.

  • This may also be due to permission issues on your computer during file transfer or saving. Try restarting your computer and launching Premiere Pro as an administrator before trying again.

  • The issue could be related to the latest version of Premiere Pro. Try rolling back to version 25.2.3 or earlier, and attempt the process again in a new project file. You can manage versions in Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • If the problem persists, we recommend performing manual edits or creating a new project file and re-running transcription from scratch.
