How is usage counted in Premiere Assistant?

You can check your usage status in Cutback Dashboard > Premiere Assistant > Usage

Usage is counted against the length of your sequence, not the sum of all your camera tracks. Premiere Assistant analyzes speech audio only, so it processes your sequence duration rather than each individual camera file in your project.

Usage hours are only deducted at the time of the initial transcription. Further actions (such as creating short-form content from transcript segments, moving parts of the transcription into a new sequence, or clicking Apply to Sequence) do not incur additional transcription hours.

Note: When using the Full Clip option for transcription, be mindful. If the original clip contains unused footage at the end of your Premiere Pro sequence, it may lead to unintended overuse of transcription hours.
