Export Transcription Data (Backup)
Open the Cutback panel in Premiere Pro.
Go to Menu > Settings > Backups > Export transcript data.
→ A cutback folder will be created in the same directory as your Premiere project file (.prproj).
Inside this folder, transcription data is saved automatically per sequence.
Import Transcription Data (Restore)
Make sure the project file (.prproj) and the
cutbackfolder are located in the same directory.Open the Cutback panel and go to
Menu > Settings > Backups > Import transcript data.
If the folder structure is intact, the transcription data will be restored automatically.
⚠️ Important Notes
Do not rename or modify any files or folders inside the
cutbackfolder.Changing the folder or file names will prevent the transcription data from being imported.
