Transcription completed, but the result looks weird.

Updated over a month ago

Note:
if there is a lot of background noise or the background music is too loud, the transcription result may be inaccurate.

If transcription has finished but no subtitles are showing (All or part of it), it may be due to your audio settings. Please check the following:

  1. Audio channel configuration

    • Right-click the audio clip in the timeline

    • Select [Audio Channels...]

    • Make sure the media source channels match. Mismatched channels can prevent Cutback from detecting speech correctly.

  2. Audio volume levels

    • Go to [Window] > [Audio] in Premiere Pro

    • Check if the volume bar for the track is too low. Very low volume can result in the transcription system detecting no audible content.

If the transcription result comes out in the wrong language, please check if the language was set to “Auto Detect” before starting transcription. Make sure the language matches the video’s spoken language, then try again.

If your video includes more than one language, note that Cutback currently supports transcription in only one language at a time. Transcribe each language separately using the appropriate language setting, then manually combine the results.
