How to Use Selects
1. Upload your raw footage: select files or a folder including all your raw footage videos and audio.
2. Give directions: Pick the tasks required for the prep.
Split video into topics – Footage will be analyzed and split into topic clips based on conversation or content changes, for faster review.
Sync multi-cam – Sync multiple video angles and audio files, and create a nested multi-cam timeline. Automatically detect who is speaking, and switch to that angle. Also supports selecting best audio track per speaker, and mute non-speaker audio.
Sync audio & video – Match separate video and audio recordings automatically.
Automated drafts - Prompt how the video should be prepped.
3. Let Selects do the work: it handles multi-cam syncing, dead air removal, splitting clips into chapters, labeling clips by content, and identifying unnecessary clips; delivering an auto rough cut to you through its intelligent video trimming with high transcription accuracy. This process take a few minutes, depending on the length of the footage. An app notification will be sent when the project is ready, so feel free to tackle other tasks in the meantime.
4. Review and cut: Once the prep is done, review the drafts and make additional edits, or prompt another draft.
5. Handoff your project: Selects creates a project file for your preferred NLE (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
